Morven Kitchen Garden & UVA Dine Partnership

Morven Kitchen Garden (MKG) is a one-acre plot on the Morven Estate, owned by the UVA Foundation. MKG is dedicated to growing fresh and GAP certified crops for local use!

UVA students can get involved with them by either applying to be a student intern or signing up for student-volunteer workdays. You can also find MKG at other UVA events, such as markets in the amphitheater.

Green Dining partners with MKG to have crops harvested weekly for special use in the dining halls. You can find this fresh and local produce featured either in select dishes or at the weekly Green Plate on Thursdays from 5-7pm in Newcomb Dining Hall!
